Physicians Replace Top Executives at Two Cincinnati-Area Hospitals

Senior executives have been replaced by physician leaders at 695-bed University Hospital in Cincinnati and 160-bed West Chester (Ohio) Medical Center, both part of the part of the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, according to a report by the Business Courier of Cincinnati.

Lee Ann Liska, senior vice president and executive director of University Hospital, has been replaced by Michael Edwards, MD, an oncologic surgeon and chairman of the University of Cincinnati’s surgery department.

Carol King, vice president of West Chester Medical Center, is being replaced by Kevin Joseph, MD, medical director for the hospital’s emergency department
