The system, which operates 124-bed Marion County Medical Center and some physician practices, has been exploring an alliance with McLeod Health.
Mr. Tucker joined the Marion County Hospital District as CFO in 1992 and has served as CEO since 2005.
He is credited with developing the system’s Woman’s Place, a wellness center, a hospitalist program and a new outpatient facility.
His successor was not named.
