CEO of Illinois’ Provena St. Joseph Resigns

William Brown, president and CEO of Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill., will resign at the end of the month, according to a report by the Daily Herald.

Mr. Brown has served as the hospital’s CEO since 2002 and has said that he will pursue other opportunities in the industry, according to the report.

Stephen Scogna, vice president of finance for Provena, will serve as interim CEO. Mr. Scogna has been with Provena since 2003.
