CEO of Duncan Regional Hospital in Oklahoma Receives AHA Leadership Award

Scott M. Street, president and CEO of Duncan Regional Hospital in Duncan, Okla., has won the AHA’s Shirley Ann Munroe Leadership Award for small or rural hospital leaders, according to a release from the American Hospital Association.

During his five years at the 192-bed hospital, Mr. Street has expanded cancer and pediatric care, made state-of-the-art imaging technology more accessible and added nephrology and cardiology services.

The three other finalists were:

  • Matthew D. Bailey, president and CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, Ind.
  • Martin W. Guthmiller, CEO of Orange City Area Health System in Orange City, Iowa.
  • Becky Ann Pape, CEO of Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital in Lebanon, Ore.
