CEO Named for New Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Arizona

Rhonda Anderson has been named CEO of Cardon Children’s Medical Center on the Banner Desert Medical Center campus in Mesa, Ariz., according to the East Valley Tribune.

Ms. Anderson, a registered nurse, has been administrator of Banner Health’s pediatric service line, where she was involved in planning, development and construction of the $356 million children’s hospital.

The seven-story hospital within a hospital, which opened Nov. 2, has 248 beds, an enlarged pediatric ED and units for pediatric rehabilitation, radiology, cancer care, intensive care and neonatal intensive care.
