Tennessee’s Southern Hills Medical Center Names Richard Tumlin COO

Nashville, Tenn.-based Southern Hills Medical Center, a member of HCA’s TriStar Health System, has named Richard Tumlin COO, according to a Nashville Business Journal report.

He previously directed the expansions of Sarah Cannon Cancer Center and Heart Center at Nashville, Tenn.-based Centennial Medical Center, also part of TriStar.

Mr. Tumlin replaces Travis Capers, who became CEO of New Orleans, La.-based Ochsner Health System’s North Shore and West Bank hospitals.
