Here are four things to know about Mr. Stahl.
1. Mr. Stahl entered healthcare management in 2006 as human resources and marketing director at Frank R. Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits, Calif.
2. He became human resources executive director for Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System’s Florida Hospital Heartland division in 2012 and was promoted to vice president of support and ancillary services the following year.
3. Since 2012, Mr. Stahl has also served as administrator of Florida Hospital Heartland in Lake Placid and vice president of the hospital’s Lake Placid, Sebring and Wauchula campuses. During his administration, the hospital expanded its surgical services and became the top-performing emergency department among the Adventist system’s 45 hospital campuses in 10 states, according to the report.
4. Mr. Stahl replaces Sam Huenergardt, who became CEO of Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, Colo., in July. Jim Boyle has served as interim CEO in the intervening weeks.
