Ben Armfield, the hospital’s CFO, has been named interim CEO, according to an April 22 hospital statement from Wendy Lee Myatt, board chair of the Sonoma Valley Health Care District, and Sheila Antrum, COO of UCSF Health.

During his tenure, Mr. Hennelly oversaw the launch of a new electronic medical record, expansion of the hospital’s physical therapy program and enhancements to ICU services, the release said.

The Sonoma Valley Health Care District board of directors, in partnership with San Francisco-based UCSF Health, will search for the hospital’s next CEO.

Before joining Sonoma Valley Hospital, Mr. Hennelly served as CEO of Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, Calif., from 2016 to 2020, according to his LinkedIn profile.

UCSF Health and Sonoma Valley Hospital signed an agreement in 2018 to create an integrated healthcare network, according to UCSF’s website.
