California Hospital CEO Placed on Administrative Leave

Vi Colunga, CEO of Bear Valley Community Hospital in Big Bear Lake, Calif., has been placed on administrative leave by the hospital’s board of directors, according to a report in the Bear Valley News.

No details were released as to why the board made the decision.

Former CEO Mary Norman had been placed on administrative leave prior to her termination in 2004, according to the report.
