Bristol Regional Medical Center President Bart Hove to Resign

Bristol (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center, part of Wellmont Health System, has announced the resignation of its president, Bart Hove, effective May 1.

Mr. Hove, who has been president of Bristol Regional Medical Center for the past twelve years, cites health reasons for his departure. “After 37 years in administration and due to my own medical issues, it is time for me to step aside,” he said.

A national search will be conducted for Mr. Hove’s replacement, and Greg Neal, president of Wellmont’s community hospital division, will serve as CEO in the interim.
