As interim CEO, Ms. Cheng successfully improved the financial position of the hospital from multi-million dollar losses to an excess net income in 2014. The funds were reinvested back into the hospital to benefit the community. She also led a comprehensive analysis of the community hospital’s strategic decision to remain independent.
Before joining Beverly Hospital, Ms. Cheng served as associate administrator of business development for Tenet Health Care System in El Monte, Calif., where she also led marketing and communications initiatives for the organization.
