Baylor Scott & White hospital names president

Wes Tidwell was appointed president of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial, a 118-bed hospital in Frisco, Texas.

Mr. Tidwell brings more than 15 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role, according to an Oct. 3 hospital news release.

Most recently, he served as hospital president at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin (Texas). 

Mr. Tidwell, a Texas Health Services Authority board member, also previously held operational leadership roles at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights and TIRR Memorial Hermann, both in Houston.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Centennial is part of Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health, the state’s largest nonprofit health system, with 53 hospitals; the Baylor Scott & White Research Institute; more than 1,300 access points; more than 59,000 team members; and its digital platform, MyBSWHealth.
