BayCare taps exec for dual C-suite role

Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System has expanded Chief Ambulatory Services Officer C. Todd Jones’ role to include chief strategy officer. 

Mr. Jones will serve in the dual role starting immediately, according to a June 24 BayCare news release. 

In his expanded role, he will drive the assessment, development and execution of business strategies to ensure the system “delivers the highest-quality academic care in existing and new markets,” according to the release. 

Mr. Jones joined BayCare in 2018 as vice president of ambulatory services and has served as chief ambulatory services officer since 2023. He has played a key role in expanding BayCare’s outpatient footprint, adding multiple ASCs across West Central Florida, including the Tampa Bay area.

Before joining BayCare, Mr. Jones spent more than two decades at Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health, where he held several leadership roles, including president of Baptist Health Richmond (Ky.), the release said.
