Steven Ivy has been named CFO of five Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System hospitals, a spokesperson for the system confirmed Nov. 4 with Becker’s.
The hospitals are: Bartow (Fla.) Regional Medical Center; South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City; Winter Haven (Fla.) Hospital; Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Fla.; and Mease Dunedin (Fla.) Hospital.
In his new role, Mr. Ivy will partner with operators to understand the financials involving things like the hospitals’ results and strategies to help move them forward in better serving their communities.
Prior to his new role, Mr. Ivy served as system vice president of finance for Evansville, Ind.-based Deaconess Health System.
He also served as vice president of hospital financial operations for Baptist Health Louisville (Ky.) and Baptist Health La Grange (Ky.).
