Ms. Reed, who will assume her new role on May 1, serves as senior vice president and chief strategy officer for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Her previous leadership roles include serving as senior vice president and clinic administrator for Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
Ms. Reed holds an MBA degree from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Ms. Reed succeeds Kimberly Guy, who was named president of St. Joseph’s Hospital, also based in Tampa.
