Jacksonville, Fla.-based Baptist Health named Thomas Gough executive vice president and COO, effective Sept. 14.
Mr. Gough will oversee operations across the health system, according to an Aug. 12 health system news release. He spent the last decade at Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed, where he served as executive vice president and COO.
Before joining WakeMed in 2015, he served as senior vice president of site operations at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, part of Providence, R.I.-based Care New England, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Mr. Gough succeeds Mr. Zuino in the role after Mr. Zuino transitioned from executive vice president and COO to president and CEO in January.
