Banner Health’s Sterling (Colo.) Regional MedCenter named Jason Thyne CEO, effective Sept. 27.
Mr. Thyne most recently served as hospital COO, according to an Oct. 5 news release from Phoenix-based Banner Health.
He joined Sterling Regional MedCenter in 2022 as director of physical therapy and rehabilitation services. His responsibilities later expanded to include oversight of respiratory, culinary and environmental services. He served as interim CEO before being promoted to COO in August 2025.
Before joining Banner Health, Mr. Thyne worked for Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb., and co-owned and operated Physical Therapy Professional Services in Kearney, Neb.
Banner Health operates 33 hospitals and more than 400 sites across six states.
