Ballad Health, based in Johnson City, Tenn., has named Mike Anderes its new managing director of Ballad Ventures, the health system’s innovation and investment arm.
In the role, Mr. Anderes will oversee partnerships, new ventures and investments, according to a Feb. 3 news release.
Mr. Anderes most recently served as president and co-founder of Vale Health, a national consortium of 16 health systems. At Vale Health, he helped build a clinician-led marketplace for high-quality health products aimed at empowering consumers and expanding health systems’ reach.
He previously served as chief digital officer of Froedtert Health, based in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
