Avista Adventist Hospital CEO John Sackett Steps Down

John Sackett, FACHE, president and CEO of Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, Colo., will step down to become president of Rockville, Md.-based Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in April.

Mr. Sackett has been in healthcare for more than 30 years. He led the building and staffing of Avista Adventist, which opened in 1990.

Mr. Sackett earned a master’s degree in health administration from Loma Linda (Calif.) University
