Under the Blue Cross health plan, which will be available Nov. 1, the system “basically is guaranteeing” it can provide care for less cost if people remain within its network. Anthem is offering incentives and penalties tied to providers’ ability to meet specific quality measures while providing care within a projected cost.
Aurora inked a similar deal with Aetna last month. These agreements make health plans from Aurora’s Accountable Care Network available to employers buying insurance.
