Newton, Mass.-based Atrius Health, a nonprofit alliance of seven community-based healthcare groups, announced Gene Lindsey, MD, will no longer serve as president and CEO of Atrius and its affiliate, Boston-based Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, according to a Boston Globe report.
Dr. Lindsey will move to the position of board vice chairman at Atrius Health, before retiring at the end of the year.
Daniel Burnes, MD, has been named interim CEO of Harvard Vanguard, according to the report.
