Atlantic Health taps new CFO

David Nosacka has been named executive vice president and CFO of Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health, effective Aug. 17.

In his new role, Mr. Nosacka will lead the system’s financial strategy and performance, according to a July 16 news release shared with Becker’s.

Mr. Nosacka will work closely with Atlantic Health’s executive team and board of trustees to strengthen care, expand patient access and affordability, and position the system for continued growth.

His responsibilities include accounting, treasury, revenue cycle, financial planning  and analysis, capital planning, managed care, supply chain, real estate and construction, and the Atlantic Health Venture Studio, the system’s platform for investing in healthcare startups, partnerships, and co-developed solutions for care transformation.

Prior to his new role, Mr. Nosacka served as senior vice president and CFO of Chicago-based CommonSpirit’s Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Tacoma, Wash. He also served as system vice president and Illinois CFO for Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, Ill.

Atlantic Health is a nonprofit health system that comprises eight hospitals, more than 550 care sites, 26 urgent care centers and the Atlantic Medical Group. It has 25,000 employees and more than 5,667 affiliated physicians.
