Bangor, Maine-based Northern Light Health named Dean Kindler, MD, the system’s first chief clinical officer.
Dr. Kindler, a vascular neurologist, will oversee the clinical enterprise and medical group, and help establish a sustainable path to financial strength, operational excellence and exceptional care quality, according to a July 23 system news release shared with Becker’s. He steps into his new role Sept. 14.
Most recently, Dr. Kindler served as chief clinical officer for Ascension St. John Health in Tulsa, Okla., and was CEO of the system’s Southwest Region in Michigan.
