Arkansas system names president

Anthony Knighton was appointed president of Walnut Ridge, Ark.-based Lawrence Healthcare, according to a post on the health system’s Facebook page.

Mr. Knighton brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience and 12 years of leadership experience to the role, according to the post.

Before joining Lawrence Healthcare, Mr. Knighton served as director of rehabilitation at Reliant Rehabilitation, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also previously served as director of rehabilitation at Aegis Therapies.

Lawrence Healthcare includes Lawrence Memorial Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital, as well as primary care clinics in Walnut Ridge and Pocahontas.
