Arkansas system names new hospital VP and administrator

David Fox was named vice president and administrator of Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Ark., part of Batesville, Ark.-based White River Health.

Mr. Fox began the role Jan. 5, joining from Summit Management Group, where he most recently served as executive vice president of hospital operations, according to a Jan. 12 hospital news release.

He succeeds Kathy Thomas, former administrator of Stone County Medical Center, who will retire in December 2026. During the transition, Ms. Thomas will continue supporting hospital leadership and remain in her role as chief safety officer.

White River Health is an independent, nonprofit health system serving north-central Arkansas.
