Most recently, Mr. Howard served as director of pediatric emergency services at Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. He served in the role for nine years, leading a team of 120 employees. He holds master’s degrees in management, health administration and nursing from the University of Phoenix.
In his new role, Mr. Howard will oversee all operations of the nursing staff and patient care services at Arkansas Children’s Northwest.
Arkansas Children’s Northwest will feature 24 inpatient beds, a 24-hour pediatric emergency department, a pediatric surgery unit with five operating rooms and an outpatient clinic with 30 exam rooms.
