Ms. Sawyer’s new role went into effect Nov. 7. Most recently, Ms. Sawyer worked with Franklin, Tenn.-based IASIS Healthcare as market president and CEO of Physician Group of Arizona. Some of her other healthcare roles have included serving as CEO for Havasu Regional Medical Center in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; CEO for Phoenix’s Maryvale Hospital; and CNO of Tucson-based Northwest Medical Center.
Ms. Sawyer succeeds former CEO Winnie Fritz, who retired.
