Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Davenport announced that Ann Barnhart, its former CEO, is returning to the position, according to a report by The Ledger.
Don Breeding, the hospital's current CEO, will leave to take his former position as CNO of the hospital.
Most recently, Ms. Barnhart served as division CEO and senior vice president for Naples, Fla.-based Health Management Associates' western division.
Ms. Barnhart will also serve as market chief executive for Bartow (Fla.) Regional Medical Center and St. Cloud (Fla.) Regional Medical Center, giving her oversight of those hospitals' chief executives, according to the report.
