Brittany Sheehy, PhD, has been named senior vice president and chief of staff Albany (N.Y.) Med Health System.
In her new role, Dr. Sheehy works with President and CEO Dan Pickett, she wrote in a May 5 LinkedIn post.
“[Albany Med] has a clear ambition: to be the region’s first choice by 2030 for care, talent, training, discovery, and partnership,” she wrote in the post. “That kind of ambition takes clear priorities, disciplined execution, and people willing to work across a system to make care better for the communities it serves.”
Dr. Sheehy most recently served as chief of staff and assistant professor at the University of Tennessee-Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis, a role she stepped into in December, according to her LinkedIn profile. Before that, she was vice president and chief of staff at Burlington-based The University of Vermont Health Network.
