AHA Section for Health Care Systems Names 2014 Governing Council

The American Hospital Association has named Michelle Hood, FACHE, president and CEO of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems in Brewer, Maine, as chair of its Section for Health Care Systems Governing Council.

Patrick Fry, president and CEO of Sutter Health in Sacramento, Calif., was named chairman-elect of the council and will assume the role of chairman in 2015.

Steve Hanson, CEO of Baptist Health in Louisville, Ky., became the immediate past chairman.
