California’s Providence Tarzana Medical Center Names COO

Providence Tarzana (Calif.) Medical Center has named Phyllis Bushart as the hospital’s new COO and CNO, according to a San Fernando Valley Business Journal report.

Ms. Bushart most recently held administrative positions at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif., and at the Los Angeles-based COPE Health Solutions, where she served as executive vice president for the group’s health workforce transformation division.

Ms. Bushart has over 30 years of experience in hospital management, including eight years with Providence Tarzana’s former owner, Tenet Healthcare System.
