AdventHealth taps pediatric care executive

Kristi Baker has been appointed senior executive for AdventHealth for Children in Orlando, Fla., effective April 7.

In her new role, Ms. Baker will oversee daily operations at AdventHealth for Children and lead Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth’s pediatric care network across Florida, according to a March 25 health system news release shared with Becker’s.

She previously served as vice president of women’s and children’s services at Tulsa, Okla.-based Saint Francis Health System.

Ms. Baker succeeds Rajan “Raj” Wadhawan, MD, who was named chief clinical officer of AdventHealth’s West Florida Division in April.

AdventHealth for Children is a children’s hospital and care network with more than 250 pediatricians and specialists.
