Justin Birmele has been appointed president and CEO of AdventHealth Gordon in Calhoun, Ga., and AdventHealth Murray in Chatsworth, Ga., effective June 15.
Mr. Birmele most recently served as CEO of AdventHealth Winter Park (Fla.), where he led several initiatives, including the development of a 140-bed patient pavilion, a new emergency room and a cancer institute, according to a June 6 health system news release.
He brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience to the role, nearly all with Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth.
