5 things to know about R. Craig McCoy, newly named CEO of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System

R. Craig McCoy has been named CEO of Greenville, S.C.-based Bon Secours St. Francis Health System.

Here are five things to know about Mr. McCoy.

1. Mr. McCoy will assume his responsibilities on June 8.

2. He has more than 20 years of healthcare experience.

3. He comes to Bon Secours from Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, where he most recently served as CEO of Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital.

4. Prior to his time at Emory, Mr. McCoy served as CEO of Paradise Valley Hospital in Phoenix and vice president professional services at OconeeMedicalCenter in Seneca, S.C.

5. He has a master’s degree in health administration from Clemson University/Medical University of South Carolina
