Oregon Health & Science University in Portland has hired Lawrence J. Furnstahl as CFO, according to an OHSU news release.
Mr. Furnstahl’s position at OHSU is effective Jan. 3. He will replace Pitt Calkin, who has served as interim CFO since Jan. 11, 2010.
Mr. Furnstahl is currently the CFO for University of Chicago Medical Center and Biological Sciences Division. He also serves as vice president for financial planning for science at the university.
OHSU is the state’s only academic health center.
