In preparation for an accountable care organization, Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Healthcare System has reorganized its top leadership, according to a Courier-Journal report.
Susan Stout Tamme, president of Baptist Hospital East in Louisville, will become president of the Louisville market for Baptist Healthcare System.
David Gray, president of Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Ky., will replace Ms. Tamme and become president of Baptist Hospital East. Dennis Johnson, an administrator at Baptist Hospital Northeast in La Grange, Ky., will replace Mr. Gray.
Finally, Chris Roty, vice president of Baptist East, will also serve as an administrator at Baptist Hospital Northeast while continuing his duties as vice president of Baptist East.
BHS owns five hospitals. As it creates the ACO, the system is looking to partner with other healthcare providers, such as short-term rehabilitation organizations, along with payors, according to the report.
