North Hawaii Community Hospital CEO Ken Woods Leaves Post for Advisory Role

North Hawaii Community Hospital in Kamuela has announced that Ken Woods, CEO, will step down to serve in the new strategic advisory role of senior advisor to the board of NHCH.

Bill Brown, vice president of human resources of NHCH, has been appointed interim CEO and will oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, effective immediately.

While he was CEO of NHCH, Mr. Woods led a strategic review that identified priorities and programs to ensure a successful NHCH transition during healthcare reform.

The search for a permanent CEO is underway.
