1. Art Glasgow was named chief information officer of Durham, N.C.-based Duke Medicine, effective May 1.
2. Richard Smith, MD, was named vice president of physician outreach and partnerships of Detroit-based Henry Ford Hospital.
3. Karen Reich was named CEO of Bon Secours St. Petersburg (Fla.) Health System, part of Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System.
4. Margaret Gill was named president and CEO of Savannah, Ga.-based Memorial Health.
5. Luke McGuinness was named CEO of the new system created by the merger of Winfield, Ill.-based Central DuPage Hospital and Geneva, Ill.-based Delnor Hospital. Mr. McGuinness currently serves as president and CEO of CDH. Michael Vivoda will replace him as president and will become executive vice president of the new system.
6. CEO Michael Young is retiring from Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
7. Donna Jacobs was named director of Northern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System in Prescott.
8. CEO Davie Lloyd resigned from Flemingsburg, Ky.-based Fleming County Hospital.
9. David Perse, MD, was named president of Cleveland-based St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, effective April 15.
10. Mark Caton resigned as CEO of Callaway Community Hospital in Fulton, Mo., after three months.
11. David Laird was named president and CEO of Louisville, Ky.-based Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s HealthCare, effective April 1.
12. Lee Suyenaga was named CEO of Whittier (Calif.) Hospital Medical Center, owned by AHMC Healthcare.
13. Clarence Sevillian was named president and CEO of POH Regional Medical Center in Pontiac, Mich., part of Flint, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care.
14. William Foley is resigning as CEO of Chicago-based Cook County Health and Hospitals System to become president of Vanguard Health System’s Chicago market, effective May 15. Terry Mason, MD, was named interim CEO of CCHHS effective May 6.
