3. Tom Laux resigned as president and CEO of Indiana University Health Morgan Hospital in Martinsville, Ind.
4. Jim Yarborough and Doug Faircloth were named interim CEO and interim CFO, respectively, for Elbert Memorial Hospital in Elberton, Ga.
5. Stephen E. Burke joined Norwood (Mass.) Hospital as executive director of finance.
6. Patients First Health Care, based in Washington, Mo., named Rene Crosswhite CFO.
7. Mark F. Klyczek was appointed president of Newark (N.Y.)-Wayne Community Hospital, which is part of Rochester (N.Y.) General Health System.
8. Michael W. Garfield was named division I vice president and Tennova Healthcare market CEO.
9. Tenet Healthcare appointed John A. Grah as CEO of Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, effective Oct. 24.
10. Cleveland Clinic appointed William Keckan, executive director of Cleveland Clinic’s regional hospitals, to serve as interim president of Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights. Meanwhile, William Young, COO of Marymount Hospital and South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, will serve as interim president of South Pointe.
11. Freeman Health System in Joplin, Mo., promoted Paula Baker to president and CEO-elect, which will be effective Jan. 1, 2012.
12. Carol Kuplen was named COO of St. Luke’s Hospital – Bethlehem (Pa.) Campus.
13. Libby Allgood was named CFO of Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg, Wash.
