President Robert Nesselbush: Leading Key Initiatives at Rochester General Hospital

Robert Nesselbush became the president of Rochester (N.Y.) General Hospital June 9.

Mr. Nesselbush has been a part of Rochester General Health System since 1993. He began as the director of financial reporting and accounting. He became the CFO of the health system in 2007.

During his time at Rochester General Health System, Mr. Nesselbush has led some of the system’s must important initiatives, including the launch of a $70 million electronic medical record system that went live in 2011 at Rochester General Hospital.

When he accepted his new position, Mr. Nesselbush said he planned to find new ways to serve the hospital’s growing community of patients with clinical innovation and compassion.

Mr. Nesselbush made Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of 300 hospital and health system executives to know in 2012.
