CFO Lana Arad: Demonstrating Financial Acumen at Good Samaritan Hospital

Before becoming CFO of Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, Calif., Lana Arad worked her way up through the ranks at other Hospital Corporation of America-owned hospitals, demonstrating partnership aptitude and keen financial knowledge.

Ms. Arad has been with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA since 1996. She started out as senior account/decision support analyst at Plantation (Fla.) General Hospital. She has also served as senior financial analyst at HCA East Florida, controller at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Fla., division controller at HCA Far West and CFO of Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas.

She holds an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of South Florida in Tampa.
