CFO John Munson: Strong Cash Reserves at St. Anthony Regional Hospital

John Munson was named vice president and CFO of Carroll, Iowa-based St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Nursing Home in July 2011, transplanting himself from Willcox, Ariz., where he was CFO of Northern Cochise Community Hospital.

John Munson is CFO of St. Anthony Regional Hospital.The 99-bed St. Anthony was founded in 1905 with the assistance of the La Crosse, Wis.-based Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration. In January, Moody's Investors Service affirmed a "Baa2" rating with a stable outlook on the hospital's $12.4 million in bonds, giving a nod to its 70 percent market share. St. Anthony closed its fiscal year 2012 with a 16.7 percent operating cash flow margin and a whopping 279 days cash on hand.

Mr. Munson is a CPA in both Iowa and Arizona. He holds an MBA from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, with an emphasis in finance.
