CFO Chris Bergman: Spearheading Finance Strategy at The Christ Hospital

The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati has experienced revenue growth and has a stable outlook under the leadership of CFO and Vice President Chris Bergman.

Moody's Investors Service recently affirmed the "Baa1" rating assigned to the hospital's rated debt. The hospital's operating performance and margins have remained stable during the past three years, and revenue growth was 10.6 percent in fiscal year 2013, according to Moody's.

Mr. Bergman has overseen The Christ Hospital's financial management and served as its principal financial strategist since 2009. He served as the hospital's interim CEO in 2008. Previously, he was senior vice president and CFO of Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Mich. He has also held the position of vice president of finance at Centura Health in Englewood, Colo.

He holds a bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting, both from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.
