Internet health information company WebMD has acquired life sciences marketing company MNG Health.
MNG Health will join the network of WebMD subsidiary Medscape, a website that provides clinical information for health professionals, WebMD said in aJuly 28 company news release.
"We are excited to be joining Medscape," said James Briggs, MNG Health CEO. "We share Medscape's commitment to driving strategic, meaningful engagement with physicians. Medscape's resources and digital intelligence will enable us to further evolve our products and expand our reach and engagement with broadcast and other virtual events."
