USDA Accepting Applicants for Telemedicine Grants

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is now accepting applications for grant funding for rural telemedicine programs through the department’s Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant Program

The USDA will provide up to $17.5 million in grants for telemedicine equipment and technical assistance. Grant recipients must serve a rural area, demonstrate economic need and provide at least 15 percent in matching funds. Awards range up to $500,000.
