During the event, companies could win thousands of dollars for their blockchain tools. In one challenge, developers were competing to create a blockchain solution for promoting interoperability. Another challenge tested companies to come up with interactive games that allow people to pay for goods using digital assets through the use of blockchain technology.
Wyoming is among the states that is investing in blockchain technology. Last year, the state passed 13 blockchain bills. Since then, around 200 new companies have registered in Wyoming with names representing their affiliation with blockchain to blockchain development.
