Todd Park to resign post as America’s CTO

U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park is planning to resign his position by the end of the year, according to a report in Fortune.

Mr. Park, who has been the country’s CTO since 2012, is expected to return to the West Coast and continue to serve in the Obama Administration by recruiting technology professionals for government projects, according to the report.

As CTO, Mr. Park was tasked with leading repair efforts on Healthcare.gov after its troubled launch in October 2013.

Outside of his government position, Mr. Park has been influential in the healthcare industry, co-founding athenahealth and founding Castlight Health, a cloud-based software that tracks healthcare costs to help improve resource efficiency.
