Theranos granted 5 new patents & 13 other health IT notes

1. Although the company has faced backlash over the past six months for its popularity among young people, e-cigarette maker Juul is considering tapping into digital health.

2. IBM released its first quarter earnings on April 16, showing an acceleration in cloud revenue growth even as the tech giant's overall revenue dipped.
