Projects receiving the grants from the Physicians Foundation include:
• “Meaningful Use Achievement Toolkit,” a program created to develop tools that support physicians in achieving meaningful use of certified electronic health record systems.
• “HIT in Practice,” a program aimed to develop support and resources for electronic health records implementation in small practices.
This round of grants is part of a larger effort by the Physicians Foundation to distribute grants that assist in expanding healthcare information technology. So far, the Foundation has distributed more than $4.2 million this year.
