St. Anthony Hospital helps rural hospitals implement telehealth

Oklahoma City-based St. Anthony Hospital, part of St. Louis-based SSM Health, has implemented telehealth services at numerous hospitals in rural Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma Nursing Times.

St. Anthony has partnered with eight rural hospitals since beginning its telehealth program in 2010.

As part of the program, St. Anthony offers telehospitalist services. These services allow St. Anthony specialists in everything from dermatology to psychiatry to connect with patients at rural hospitals.
